VIDEO_EPISODE 3: Automation

And 3…
After “Backups” and “360° view”, here is the 3rd episode of the dbSQWare saga!
Entitled “Automation”, this new video presents the interest of using dbSQWare on a daily basis to simplify recurring operating operations, gain autonomy and facilitate collaborative work, by automating tasks.

Many thanks to Damien Dalmasso for his great job as Video Motion designer.

To be continued in the next episode…

Multi-DBMS

– “Do you know the dbSQWare software?”

dbSQWare is a multi-DBMS operating and maintenance software that supports 12 types of database engines such as:
– Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, MariaDB, Teradata, Sybase, Ingres, DB2 LUW)
– or NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, Adabas Linux version).

Despite the diversity of these database engines and their heterogeneity, with dbSQWare, daily operations and maintenance tasks are carried out in a completely homogeneous way => backups, restores, copies of environments, reorganizations, update statistics and vision.

VIDEO_EPISODE 2 : 360° view

New dbSQWare episode to discover!

In a format identical to the first episode (on the backups), this one has the advantage of using dbSQWare to follow the evolution of its databases.
Indeed, the software’s web interface offers a 360° view of all the DBMSs. Thanks to its indicators, it allows to have a global vision, but also granular via a Top-Down approach.

Thank you Damien Dalmasso for making this new video.
Looking forward to the next ones!

V2022.04

dbSQWare version 2022.04 has just been released!

This latest version includes several major new features expected by our users:
– the possibility of managing repository instances by API:
–> in consultation, creation and update
– the ability to generate indicators, by API, for:
         –> backups and storage.
The management of indicators for the Job part is being finalized and will be available in the next patch.

Constantly evolving, dbSQWare adapts to the demands of our users to make their daily life easier and to gain in efficiency and time, on the daily tasks of operating database engines.

CIP FESTIVE EVENING 2022

This evening, Festive Evening of the Club Informatique Provence Méditerranée – CIP, at the TheCamp innovation center, in Aix-en-Provence.

dbSQWare will participate with great pleasure in this annual event, expected by all.
Theme of the evening: “Summer Party”… Atmosphere assured!

Congratulations to the members of the CIP for the organization and good evening to all the participants!

VIDEO_EPISODE 1: Backups

After the release of a first Motion Design video which presented our dbSQWare software in general, we are proud to introduce you to a new one!
In a shorter format, it illustrates, in a more precise way, the interest of using dbSQWare to make backups of databases.

Many thanks to Damien Dalmasso for making this video.
Thank you for your involvement and your understanding of the subject.
For your endurance too, because this is only the beginning. Other videos are in progress…
Still a little patience !

The 31st edition of COTER-NUMERIQUE (the 1st for dbSQWare) has come to an end.

A big thank you to all the decision-makers who came to meet our team during this show.
Discussing the management of database engines is always a pleasure for Séverine Payan and Michel Payan.

Congratulations to Antoine Trillard and his entire team for the organization and the quality of the event.
Looking forward to the next edition, in 2023, in Deauville.

Thank you also to our colleagues and partners for their great sympathy.

CoTer Numérique 2022

The CoTer Numérique annual congress is now!
We are expecting many of you, on June 14 and 15, 2022, at the Palais des Congrès in Saint-Malo, for this event dedicated to IT professionals from local authorities.

If you want to discuss database engines, their management and their issues, our dbSQWare team is at your disposal on stand 40.

CIP NETWORK SHOW 2022

The CIP Network Show is today!

The dbSQWare team is waiting for you at the Palais des Congrès du Parc Chanot, in Marseille, on stand A11, to discuss during this business IT event in the South region, organized by the CIP – Club Informatique Provence Méditerranée.

So do not hesitate to come and meet Agnès NAGAMANY and Matthieu Charton to discuss the management of database engines.

DBMS: Environment copy

– “The environment copy, what is it for?”

The environment copy allows you to duplicate an environment and thus have 2 identical environments (same structure, same tables, same data) on 2 different servers.

The interest is to have, for example, a development environment identical to that of production (in the case where the prod environment is copied in dev) and to provide developers with a working base reliable and up-to-date before they start coding (Caution, it may be necessary to anonymize the data!).
In other cases, the environment copy can make it possible to put a test environment into production, if it has successfully passed all the validation stages, or to set up a DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) on D-1.

Finally, if the duplication is done through backups, this makes it possible to validate their viability.
